Dear Colleagues and Friends,

The Swiss Branch of the ISSHP has the great honour to invite you to the next World Congress in 2012 to Geneva. The study of hypertension in pregnancy faces new horizons offering great opportunities to all involved. Our branch is devoted to provide you a forum to present the latest developments in clinics and research and obtain information updating current understanding of the disease and their consequences. In cooperation with the WHO, just around the corner in Geneva, specific consideration will be given to low income country (LIC) and epidemiological issues. Clinical courses are intended to bring the advancement in research to clinical practice. The Swiss Branch is convinced that the marvelous city of Geneva will host an exciting event in 2012 and is looking forward seeing you all in Geneva. “Let’s meet where the mountains touch the lake.”

ISSHP is now focusing on this problem, neglected for so long, and no better place to start then at our World Congress, the home of the World Health Organization, who will be a significant participant in the Congress.
